The honest truth about this
Every staff member was really good! They went out of their way to. Breakfast was good, with homemade granola that was the best!
I missed out on the fine views from a balcony room, which left me feeling a bit disappointed!

The spacious communal areas provide a relaxed vibe that enhances the overall experience.
Staying in a room above the kitchen meant I was constantly greeted by noise and odors, particularly in the early morning hours.

close to fine parks and city landmarks for easy exploration
I loved that it was just a short walk to De Waal Park where I could enjoy the lush views, and I also found the vibrant Oranjezicht City Farm nearby with a great local market experience. Every staff member was really good, really adding to my weekend adventure here while enjoying the beautiful surroundings in this lovely Luxury King Room, but I wish the hotel had a backup generator during load shedding as it was great.

No backup generator during load shedding is surely a rookie mistake for a so-called luxury hotel. I really expected at least a complimentary gesture for such appalling service.

fantastic service but room location issues
The staff provided really good service throughout our stay, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The luxury king room offered fine decor that felt both modern and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the amazing mountain view during breakfast.
Our room's location above the kitchen resulted in early morning noise that was quite disruptive.

The design strikes a solid balance between contemporary and mid-century styles, offering a stunningly attractive aesthetic. The spacious communal areas provide a relaxed vibe that enhances the overall experience.
Staying in a room above the kitchen was less than ideal. The early morning breakfast preparations meant I was constantly greeted by noise and odors-not exactly what you hope for in a getaway. The lack of a backup generator during load shedding was concerning, especially considering the security risks when the electric fences were down. It really impacted my comfort and peace of mind. I think improved room positioning and enhanced power solutions would go a long way here.
